Internship Program | Tres Sueños Morados Foundation
Building Equitable Pathways for Emerging Leaders
At the Tres Sueños Morados Foundation, we are committed to addressing systemic barriers to success for BIPOC youth in the Merrimack Valley. Our Internship Program is an opportunity for college students to engage in social impact work that directly supports the empowerment of underserved communities. This initiative aligns with our larger mission to close the opportunity gap by providing mentorship, professional development, and capacity-building resources to youth, fostering a more equitable future for all.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we operate within a framework that prioritizes equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices. Our Professional Development Program provides underrepresented youth with the necessary skills, resources, and support to navigate academic and professional landscapes. This internship will allow college students to gain hands-on experience in the areas of nonprofit management, youth development, and community-based programming while contributing to the advancement of social justice and economic mobility for the next generation of leaders.
Program Objectives
Empowerment through Education: Equip college interns with professional skills while simultaneously supporting BIPOC youth in gaining the educational tools and career readiness they need to dismantle generational barriers.
Capacity Building: Strengthen the foundation’s internal systems and outreach efforts by engaging students in the operational aspects of nonprofit work, including program management, data collection, and impact measurement.
Career Readiness: Provide students with valuable exposure to various sectors through career exploration, workforce development initiatives, and mentorship from industry professionals in fields such as education, law, healthcare, and technology.
Cultural Competency & Identity: Promote an asset-based approach that emphasizes cultural identity, self-awareness, and pride in heritage, fostering social cohesion and community belonging.

Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community stakeholders, including schools, local businesses, and civic organizations, to build a collective impact approach that drives social change and improves access to opportunities for marginalized youth.
